    Level 1 or 2 workouts as warmup



    Does somebody know if level 1 or 2 workouts could be used as a warmup?

    There are some specific workouts created by DAREBEE, to be used as warm up, You can find it easily in the database.

    ...anyway, sometimes, I do that. I pick an easy workout to be used as warm up. If it is not light, II do it at the first level, even I do only a set. An alternative some people does, can be to use the first set of your daily training as warm up.

      Tip: If you are short on time and you are doing a bodyweight workout, you can forgo a specific warm-up and do the first set of the circuit moving at a slower pace, jumping lower and moving slower in general turning the first set into a warm-up.

        I use level two cardio workouts as warm ups. If I have a heavy cardio day planned, I'll do 4 or 5 sets and then get into a higher level cardio workout. If I have strength workouts planned, I'll do all seven sets of the cardio and then get down to it.

        AND, always my first set is a throwaway, getting the dust out of my joints, so I usually take that one easier. But then that's a 52 year old talking. Your mileage may vary.
