    walking workouts/ programs/ challenges

    I may have missed them but are there any walking workouts/ programs/ challenges on here. I have really gotten into walking and thought there may be something on here. Thanks for the help.

    Well there are quite a few running challenges/workouts/tips here, some of them, such as 30 days of running could probably easily be converted to walking instead and the workouts there such as yoga for runners, runner strength or the post run stretching will likely be just as useful for you as they would be for runners.

    I don't know if there's anything specifically for walking, if there is, I haven't come across it so far.

    Edit: Just had a look around the challenges and found the 30 day walkabout challenge, which seems perfect for you! Also the power walk challenge might be interesting

        The 30 Days of Change also has some walking in it, though it will progress to running.

        There are a few of us on the World Walking app as well which is a fun way to use your step count.

          For programs with other exercises that also incorporate walking:

          * Hero's Journey if you choose the Bow & Arrow as your weapon has the option of taking long walks on many of the weapons training days.

          * Age of Pandora has you physically travel across a map to each new part of the story. One of the options for travel is walking/running/jogging in real life.
