    Post partum workout recommendations?

I’m currently 4 months post partum and have been cleared for light to moderate exercise. Mostly looking for something to help regain muscle and tone in my abdominal region, hips, glutes and upper arms. Recommendations for leg workouts and chest also would be nice.
I was regularly active pre-birth, with a heavy manual labour job. No pre existing medical conditions, previous injury to rotator cuff 5+ years ago

I'll suggest to try something like Vitality, Baseline or Foundation Light: you can find them in the list of programs, they're light ones, but you can increase the difficulty if you feel like just doing them at level 3 or cutting rest times. Probably they will be too light for you, since you were active so much before, but use them to see how it feels like to go back to exercise. Last year I had abdomen surgery twice and Foundation light helped me a lot to recover, since it was low-impact.
    Hope this helps

Hi! Personally, I started with Power Up when I was probably about four or five months postpartum. It's pretty quick (always a plus with kids), and many of the workouts weren't so different from what we did in the post-childbirth recovery classes. When I felt I needed - and could handle - more ab work, I started Core Strength. First on level I, now I'm doing it on level II and then I'm planning to repeat it on level III. It's an add-on program, so it's also quick, but it does do its job.
Apart from that, I'd avoid jumping and running for a few months yet, but otherwise do what looks appealing and feels good. I've also done Totals during a time when my first daughter was pretty small, and that worked well, too - I'd have a piece of paper and a pen lying around somewhere and cross off a few squats here and a few push-ups there during the day. The suggestions above are also good ones.

My wife started about two months after our last child, and generally kept up with me since. At the beginning, she was just careful about injury, but now at about 7 months she never mentions it in regards to post partum issues.
