    Starting the Boxing Prime Program

    Man it's been awhile since I've been on darebee haha I forgot my password till now lol.

    But anyways, I want to start the boxing prime workout. It looks really tough, really challenging which I need, and I wanna transform my body into a fighting machine which I think this program will help me with. Before I start this though, has anyone done this program and if so what were the problems you've gotten, any good results you've gotten, and things you wish you knew before starting this program? That'll be helpful towards my end when I start it.

    About Boxer Prime. I may suggest using wrist weights and/or dumbbells for shadow boxing to make it really harder and to compensate the lack of heavy punching bag in case you don't have it.

      I've been doing BOXER PRIME on level 3 (full sets), resp.level 5 = it advanced program.
      days remaining 7.
      It's a bit of stereotype, push ups / jab cross hooks ...agility,classic Abs...
      The only thing where I ,,burned,, myself was day 1, I would definitely recommend you to wear WRISTS SUPPORT = to tighten your hands, wrists. There is a huge amount of push ups and shadow boxing, so throwing punches in the air to fast can be harmful.
      As well as if you are not good at push ups.

      It's classic boxing training, jumping rope suitable too.
      For dumbbells, as ThreeHens mentioned, I would not do that because using weighted gloves is only for very well trained boxers and the only benefit of using ,,weighed gloves,, is that your punches are FASTER once you take the weights off.
      Punching bag can be used, but again, this have people who are boxing regulary! I don't know anything about you so can not give you direct advice rather then general ,which I have done.

      And if you want ,,TO TURN INTO FIGHTING MACHINE,, then I fully reccomend FIGHTER'S CODEX PROGRAM !!! rather then boxer prime...first to do FC and then Boxer Prime.

        I second trying Fighter's Codex first. That's already super hard! And I did it on Level 1, can't imagine doing it on Level 3 ... yet.

          Nevetharine 👍 there are days, in both programs, where you have to acomplish all sets, no matter which level you decided to do.
          In Boxer Prime :

          it's different in the days of -
          -SPEED
          -ENDURANCE
          -ABS

          There you can choose how many sets, depending on the level.
          It's just more sets, more repetitions😉

            So would you say fighter's codex is like the intro to the boxer prime?

              how many pounds of dumbbell do you recommend because i only have 15lb dumbbells

                Miss_Dada so right now i'm doing the iron borne program, after that i want to do a program that turns me into a lean fighting machine. Should I start with the FC then transition into Boxing Prime to get the full results or go straight into boxer prime?

                  jkhawaja12, I guess, you should choose lighter ones, 0,5 kg (1.1 lb) is more than ample in the beginning, but nevermind if you don't have an opportunity to adjust weight, it's just an option. And in case you want to do weighted shadow boxing anyway, you may try using water bottles or short pieces of steel, whatever fits in your hands. Using weights in this exercise makes your punches really more powerful.

                    ThreeHens You should do the program first and then give advices i see you do not have boxer prime badge so you probably have not done those,or??

                        jkhawaja12 cool you are doing Iron born!!

                        FIGHTERS CODEX is more martial arts, kicks and various combos, fighting techniques.(Jet li tribute, Bruce Lee tribute days,there are some good combos)

                        Boxer Prime is classics Boxing Program. No kicks. Mainly box.

                        FIGHTERS CODEX is level 3,
                        BOXER PRIME level 5.

                        give it a try, if you don't like it you can do the other
