    Crunches

    Hi bees!

When doing crunches, I'm doing something wrong (I think), because my neck hurts and cramps. I tried putting my hands on my head or in my neck to see if that made a difference, but not really.

The answer is probably around here somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
Is this normal? If not, do you have any pointers as to what I should do to improve my posture while doing crunches?

I find it helpful to pick a spot on the ceiling, keep looking at that, cross my arms on my chest then focus on lifting my shoulder blades up. It keeps the tension out of my neck to not reach and focus towards my knees.

Similar to this, I pick a spot where the ceiling meets the wall across from me. I tell myself that this gives me the near-perfect angle to align my head to. Then I just "lock up" my head, neck and chest and only focus on the core.
