    BATTLE ROPES

So, my marathon trainer had these old 2 kgs dumbbells missing the "puck" (I hope you get what I mean...) that cannot be used, so he gave them to me... My first thought was... BATTLE ROPE ! Will it work for indoor cardio and/or HIIT? Can you recommend me of a good workout around 30' long to maintain cardio endurance while training my upper body? Thanks !!!

P.S.: Also torching calories similar to jum rope would be nice!

Do you have enough space for a battle rope? How are you planning to combine the weights with the rope itself? What kind of material are the dumbbells made of?

SimonB Probably I didn't make it clear: I have 2 dumbbells missing one of two ends (think about T, whereas normal dumbbells look like ][...) So, I thought I could hold them and make moves similar to the b.ropes ones, but without actually having one..! Dumbbells are plastic coated... So I wanted to know:
-can I have same benefits or not?
-does someone know any good 30' b.rope workout to work full body, be brutal and torch many calories?

I hope it is clear now... Any further questions are welcome..!
