How to sit for long hours without problem of back pain? What is the proper way of sitting?

I will like honest advice of sometime on how to sit for long hours 10-12 hours and still be able to remain back pain free, what is the correct postures to sit?

Stand up every 20 min, take a few steps, stretch etc. and frequently change positions as you sit. There is no perfect posture or a perfect chair that would make sitting for long periods of time comfortable; we simply weren't built for it. So move.

Also if you can, get yourself a standing desk

Ah i thought this question was about meditating.. well when i did meditation course where we had to sit um i think 10 hours daily for 10 consecutive days, a lot of cushions were provided to prop body in ways that we could sit for long periods. Everybody is different, but basically best to keep the spine as straight as possible is usually most comfortable.
For me, it was just good to use a cushion to prop my butt up a few inches, and it was slanted slightly downward. This could still apply if sitting in a chair I think. But depends on persons size and shape of body (mostly butt and legs).

This is if you must stay seated and not moving.. but if you’re asking about this for a job, I would try to stand up and move around if I were you, for a few minutes every half hour. Like go to the restroom or get some water or something.
