Advice for Recovering from Groin Muscle Injury

    Hi Bees!
Two days ago I was jogging inside and for some reason decided to go around the table in the middle of the small room. Anyway, there was a pillow sticking out from the side of the couch and I turned sharply to avoid it, which I'm pretty sure is how I ended up with this injury. I didn't notice any pain until the next day, but it hurts when I walk. I'm looking for recovery advice as well as possible workouts to do while it heals that won't strain the injury.

well, try to do workouts that don't involve much movement, or wear something tighter so it does not move to much.

Bonnie Silver ... I fully understand your impulse to 'move' while 'jogging' or doing March Steps. I, too, am not always comfortable being stationary.
Now you've injured a muscle you use regularly. You ought to cut back any strenuous use of it. Chances are you won't even know you are using it until it issues a sharp reminder.
It will take a while before you stop getting such reminders. Just don't try to hurry back. Work other muscle groups while this heals.
