    30 Day HIIT advanced

    Hey all,

my fiance is about to begin this workout today today and we were not sure if there was any rest between the exercises in each set.

for example it says 20 sec high knees, 20 sec punches,20 secplank jab cross.

Are these supposed to be back to back with no rest until you complete all 7 exercises between a set?

Yes, once you hit the timer and it starts beeping at 20 sec intervals, you go from one exercise to the next until it says to rest. BUT. On Day one, you also add 1 push-up in between each exercise. So, your 20 secs for each exercise will get cut short a little!😎Then, at the end of the 2 minute timer, it should tell you REST and it’ll time another 2 minutes and say DONE. Then you hit repeat and start over! Good luck!👍🏼🥳

Ah I was printing it out so I didn’t have the timer obviously haha. Thanks for the reply! My fiancé is gonna be thrilled to hear she doesn’t get breaks between each exercise 😊

I think the one push-up is not to be counted into any of the 20 secs.

Oh ok; How does it get fitted in then, cuz if you pause the clock, you have only the option of starting it over....?

I usually use the timer on my phone, so if it says 0:23 after the push-up I will just start counting the next 20 secs from there. That's how I would do it, but of course anyone has his/her own freedom in how to go about things.

Gotcha👍🏼That makes sense. I’ve been using the in-workout timer pretty exclusively, so that was how I saw it😝😅

You can also use Google Stopwatch, just open up a search tab and search "Stopwatch" and the stopwatch will appear on your screen,so you don't have to use your phone.
