    HIIT vs High Burn

Pardon my ignorance but in the workout filter what is the difference between “Cardio/High Burn” and “HIIT/Interval” training?

From my experience both can greatly pump your heart rate, but HIIT can also include moves seen in strength training such as lunges, squats, abs, etc.

For cardio activities you don't necessarily need to go all out for example long distance running or jogging. But in HIIT you are supposed to do an exercise such as high knees as fast as you can. I think that helps developing speed and endurance in that particular exercise. Speed is something that sometimes you have to force yourself to develop.

I am not really knowledgeable in this topic so I will wait for other people's insight.

As far as just an observation I have noticed that ALL of the high burn cardio workouts have a number of reps for each exercise and the hit workouts only have a time

Yes, HIIT is time based. If it's "high knees 20sec," you do as much high knees within 20 seconds as possible. So it can be 40 reps, 45 reps, 60 reps, etc. Every one is different.
On the other hand in cardio if it says 40 high knees, the time being taken can vary, but you need to complete 40 reps.

Cardio/high burn is endurance based, you do (more or less) easy movements over a long period of time/ for many reps.

HIIT is a high intensity exercises over a short time, followed by an even shorter rest phase, at least for the worked muscle group. You repeat that pattern over and over again...
