    "Living food"

Hey Bees. What micronutrient are you craving when you keep wanting raw vegetables?

I feel like whenever we cook these past few days I "look down" on the cooked food. It seems "dead" to me. (These are the words my brain are giving me during these cravings, lol) And I'm not into eating them. When I do, I feel "heavy". Its leading me to not eating enough, because there's nothing else in the house. And no moola for much else. The meals aren't unhealthy, I mean its lentil stew. Or sandwhiches. They make me feel the worst.

I'm craving "living" foods. I've been munching on raw carrots and apples during the day and they are incredibly satisfying - a few days ago I got to eat a salad... a simple salad of lettuce, tomato and cucumber... that tasted like it was sent down from the gods... no dressing. No seasoning, no nothing. Its like I could feel the antioxidants coursing through my veins or something 😂

Raw vegetables are usually higher in vitamins than their cooked counterparts. So...

Maybe it is the the crunchy part that you are missing? Try eating something crunchy, maybe that helps too.

Raw carrots! I swear I've never tasted a carrot so good... I've been munching on them through the day. Its the only veg we have in the house that can be eaten raw.

Its just a full on craving for raw veg. Everything else seems "heavy" and urgh all of a sudden.

          meat - blah.
          lentils - blah.
          cheese and eggs - eh.
          cooked veg - urgh!
carbs and starches - oh gosh, NO!
Milk - only cold... otherwise yuck.

raw cold veg - .... swooon...

If I eat any of the above, I HAVE to drink tons of water afterwards. Because it just feels too... rich?

There was a program on TV about the brain, saying that humans started to invent things when they started to cook food. They said that cooked food has more energy for the brain and people who eat a low carb diet also starve the brain.
