    Weight questions

    Hi guys. i want to know what my "ideal" weight is and does it exist? By a lot of internet calculators my weight is from 79kg to 91kg. Im a 193cm, 26 year old male.

    You may calculate your BMI but %fat counts,look at your mirror and see how much % fat you have

      BMI is useful as a measure of populations or large statistical groups as a whole (e.g. a town, people with (pick an) illness, left-handers, idk make up your own random group if you like) but it doesn't actually tell you huge amounts on an individual level as it's only another measure of how much you weigh, not what you weigh. I have a BMI of 24.5 (so theoretically normal for my height - just!) but there' s still a lot of abdominal fat on me. I've seen people with the same BMI and there's nothing spare on them.

      What is an ideal weight depends on what you want to do. Long-distance runners weigh much less than sprinters due to the different demands and the greater muscle bulk of sprinters.
