Isolated arm workouts or split to musclegroups works best in gerneral. But two times a week is not enough for splitting. I would recommend full body workouts for you. Try to do at least 3 exercises for biceps and triceps twice a week.
SimonB twice a week wasnt enough? i knew it! I know the progress was very slow. Thats why im trying my best to change the program to thrice a week at least.

I want to tone my body specially my arms and legs at home. So I do everyday cardio like the programs here in darebee then arm workouts every Tuesday and Thursday. Abs/Legs and HIIT every Monday and Friday.

Im trying to do something on Wed instead of Rest day as what my friend's told me. Im 58kgs when I started last April. Then Im now 55kgs because Im not consistent due to my schedule before. Now that I have a regular schedule, I have 1 to 1.5 hrs. max free time in the morning and 1 hour free time in the evening after work. Im 5 feet tall. tall?

What is basically schedule for split if you will do it more than twice a week? I want to do it if thats the most effective. I can extend the training in the evening if in need anyway

First of all i want to say, iam not a personal trainier so maybe some of my advises are not perfect for you. It's kinda difficult to give good training advises via internet, i try to get the best information out of your posts. All my suggestions are just from personal experience.

What i read so far, leads to my advise "full body workout". I think it's not necessary for you to split. It seems that you are a beginner so full body workouts should be fine. You need time and patients, don't expect to fast results.
Split workouts are most common when it comes to gym and training with heavy weights.

That sounds good to me. You should try different exercises from time to time. Don't stick with the same routine.

I understand, SimonB and thank you Ive learned something new about split workouts. And I know I can tone my body at home because Im not that really fat. It was just I have a very stubborn flabby arms that spreads and makes me look like fat. My tummy is okay I need to reduce my carbs intake I was just wondering workout will tone it faster. I'll switch to full body workout and need to be consistent this time.

So, is full body twice a week is enough or do I need to do it thrice? Which is better? Im just being cautious.
