    Squat + pushup

I had a question about the squat + pushup combo. Does this mean you lower into a squat then fall forward into a pushup, or is this a burpee in disguise? I've seen several different versions of this combo online, but wanted to see what the Hive thinks. Thanks all!

Here's an example of a DareBee workout that features this combo: Hercules

I would finish the squat by standing up first then doing the pushup since standing back up is a big part of working the muscles properly in a squat. I know by "fall forward" you don't mean literally fall but it makes me picture myself falling flat on my face, which is exactly how I feel about hidden burpees.

Zastria thanks for the input. The versions I've seen with "falling forward" usually mean rocking forward - go down into the squat, rock forward onto your hands, then do a pushup, then rock back onto your heels, then stand up. Sounds like this will be a burpee with a double squat - squat, up, burpee - unless I hear otherwise. Goody.

I second Zastria . I would do a proper squat first and how to get in the push-up position (falling over, get on your knees first, do a lunge and get on both knees then, burpee-style...) is everybodys own preference. Falling forward from the squat is what having a stroke on the toilet must look like
