    1&1 meal plan

Hi, newbie here. I'm thinking about starting the 1&1 meal plan along with the foundation program to lose some weight. For the 1&1 meal plan, low carbs days, how many grams of carb can I eat max per day? I've done keto before and maintained it at less than 20g per day, but not sure if this follows the same rule. Also, for the free pass days, the exception says no sugar. Does that exclude food with natural sugar? I.e. apples oranges etc. Any tips would be great for a newbie. Thanks!

That plan does not take into consideration (or cares) about the amount of carbs since the components in each list has a wide variety of carb composition. For example in the veggies section, 1 cup of kale has about 1 g of carbs and 1 cup of eggplant has about 5 g. In the protein section, 1 cup of chickpeas has 44 g of carbs and 1 cup of eggs has almost 2 g. So, I would recommend to just pick what you want to eat and keep track of the carbs that way just for informational purposes. Then after you are done with the mealplan duration, you can modify your selections to the amount of carbs you want/need.

I treat the no sugar part as no added sugars (table sugar, honey, syrup, etc.) or concentrated sugars (fruit juices, sodas, cake, etc). Naturally occurring carbs in their whole food form (fruits, cereals, grains, oranges if you eat the whole orange without the peel, don't just suck the juice, etc.) are fine for the free days, but the only fruits in the regular plan days under veggies are low starch (carbs) fruits: cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, eggplant, pumpkin.

HI,I am a noob and I was also wondering about the list of foods. The list is clearly not comprehensive correct? I saw that the example meals contained avocado which wasn't listed. So is the list provided in the 1&1 just as a guideline?
