    Building to a Pull-up

I'm hoping to do my first pull up, so I decided to look at the challenges and I saw the Dead Hang, Flex Hang and the Negative Pull up challenges. Which one should I do? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest the following order: dead, active*, negative, flex.

*Active hold is hanging in a hollow position, with shoulder blades actively pulled down and together. You can use rhe progression of one of the other challenges. Hanging shrugs are a good preparation for this exercise.

As this would be a long time of hanging around, you can start every 15 days.

Have a look at the "pullup progression thread" in the playground section. You may find some help, information and especially motivation there.

This is one of the recurrent questions, and has different answers due everyone is different (= different levels in the components of physical fitness). In general, the question is solved with the above good answers, but let me add another option: https://darebee.com/hive/feedback/51...646#post511646 (made by BlackButler )

Aye, there seem to be a lot of answers to this one, but a complete majority of them seem to work. You can tackle pullups from a few different angles.
