    Iron Born Question - 4 sets/exercise, or 16 sets/exercise?

Hi there! After much deliberation, I've selected my 2nd Darebee program - Iron Born! Excited to get started, but I'm a bit confused. Each exercise lists 4 sets (12, 10, 10, 8), but there are also 4 set check boxes down below. Does this mean I'm going through the whole workout 4 times, which would really mean 16 sets per exercise? For example: Lateral arm raise exercises of 12, 10, 10, 4 should be done a total of four times, or is the set of 12, 10, 10, 4 all I need to do?

Question 2: 30 seconds rest between each set of reps (between the 12 reps and the following 10 reps) feels like forever. Do other Darebees super-set while they wait? I did sit ups this time around.

Thanks in advance, the site brings me much joy.

Hi! Perform the exercise 12 times - 30 seconds rest, 10 times - 30 seconds rest .... and so on. Only 4 sets. Rest between the transition to the next exercise - 2 minutes.

Thank you, Lilu! Glad I’ve completed the workout and don’t have to go back!

Ironborn is all over disgned like the first day. So you have 29 more days to do like the first one. If 30sec seem too long, maybe you have to raise the weights you use? Stretching the not used muscle groups is always good between sets. Maybe you can stretch the parts you worked the day before.

HellYeah Thanks! The weights seem to be a good fit, but I’ll experiment tomorrow. Very good point!
