    Pack A Punch

Hey everyone.... I have a question (simple and easy one really). Why is this workout ranked as 2/5 in terms of difficulty? And how can I make it 3 or even 4/5? Should I do more rounds, sub rest with push ups? If that's stupid, can you please recommend me a similar, combat-oriented workout (not necessarily combat...) with fighting and strength moves..? Thanks a lot...

I'd say it's a level 2 difficulty because it's a fairly easy workout with no sets. It's not stupid to add rounds or extra moves if that makes a workout better for you. For another workout you could have a look through the combat tag in the workout database to find something you like the look of. Xena could be a good match for what you want, or The Final Form or Combat Pro.

Ok, Great question! I've been adding this in a few times a week now. It all about how hard your punching. I'm using this with a bag and can feel when I throwing harder punches vs. faster softer combos. Its also more difficult to throw higher punches vs lower ones. Remember to keep your hands up covering your face at all times. These all add to the difficulty.

Anyone else have ways of increasing to difficulty????

I did this WO yesterday, counting a total of 1116 punches.

        • Increase the speed
        • Do series of 4 minutes instead 3
        • Do it with wrists weights (or small dumbbells)
        • Do four, five, etc, series of three minutes.
        • Rest times shorter
        • ...etc
