    Lunges

Sometimes I have problems with my left knee and I have problems with doing lunges. How can I replace or modify them?

Try reverse lunges....if it dosn't feel better, check your form. If you cant do them at all, try squats.

Reverse lunges are better, thank you!

Kaleo I have problems with lunges.

A few ideas and these are what I do:

Go slow so as to ensure you keep good form with a regular lunge. (Nearest to a normal lunge)

Go slow and hold on to something to give a bit of support on the left side.

        Reverse lunges

        Static lunges

Substitute for squats or if you have a gym then a leg curl with a light weight, just do more reps. (Most compensated option)

Make sure you stretch well before and lunges and consider a foam roller afterwards. Knee pain can be a problem of tight leg muscles.

I've managed to aggravate my knee patella tendon yesterday, so I've been researching this at lunchtime.
