Finished Foundation recently, But unsure if i can move on to 90 days of action yet.

I finished foundation, and so i tried to find a program to move onto, and i picked 90 days of action.
The issue is, the first day says i have to do 10 pushups, which is (for me) past my to fail amount of reps (i can only do 8-9 if i really push myself, and at the time it was only around 6.)
Should i try doing it anyway?
i know i can also try doing the girly pushups instead of normal ones, but they are really easy.

What about jus doing normal push-ups as long as you can and the switching to knee-push-ups?

Dillon101001 I remember doing inclined push-ups (using a box/ furniture) on the early days of the program.

What is a "girly pushup" supposed to be?

            Didn't see that one.
That kind of makes me aspire to the planche.

Maybe a "girly push-up" is a push-up performed by the nearest girl. It's no wonder how that kind of push-up is easy for a guy. He'd barely get any exercise at all.

I believe that's called an assisted push up then

Dillon101001, take a look at the 50 Push-Ups Challenge. It's 30 days, starts with small #s and builds gradually. If you want to start with assisted push ups, use the last two weeks of that challenge and then restart with day 1 unassisted in 2 wks.

Finally, in case you are doing it, don't assume you "should" be doing this or that. Be proud, but not satisfied, with the best you can do today -- and push it further tomorrow. Sorry to preach, but I am prone to judging against "I should" myself.

I support the idea to switch to knee-push-ups when it gets to hard. Alternatively you can aim to do them regularly but have a short break in between.
Ideal break is keep the plank position but it's also ok to get down, shake the arms and continue. Even if you end up with 5-1-1-1-1-1 it's absolutely ok and you will see, that you will improve quickly. I guess that's better if you think knee-push-ups are too easy.
Apart from that, what ever works for you is fine. Don't compare yourself too much with others but only with your yesterday's self (my motto).
                        Have fun and take care.
