    Newbie needing some help/guidance

Hi everyone! Title pretty much says it all, I'm starting to get into working out frequently after a few months and need some help.

I'm a 21 y/o looking to feel and also look fit for the first time and I'm a bit lost. I used to do taekwondo and karate before getting in college and during my first year (currently on my fourth year) I did the 30 days of HIIT program for about two months and a half with some running to get rid of some extra kilos, so I'm not terribly out of shape but martial arts and running let me with some relatively large legs and a disproportionately smaller torso so I'd like to work on that. I figured I'd get into weight lifting and sort of avoid cardio bc even though I feel like I still have a bit of a belly I don't want to lose more weight since I feel like looking skinnier would just be the opposite of what I want to.

For reference I'm 178 and about 68 kg. My main goal is being stronger and healthier but I'd also like to focus on building a larger torso and bigger arms and maybe trying to get a 6 pack. I don't want to look like one of those crazy ripped guys or the huge gym dudes but looking better is one of my main goals (obviously knowing results take time but I'm in no hurry so it's not a problem).

I thought I'd do a torso workout like the "butcher", "brute (arms and back)" or "upperbody builder" on Mondays and Thursdays, abs and some yoga/pilates (for getting a better posture) on Tuesdays and Fridays, and maybe do some leg work on Wednesday (one day only since it's the only part of my body I don't wanna focus on too much but I don't want to completely neglect it either) but I'm completely open for suggestions since weights are something I'm completely inexperience with. Thanks in advance!
