    Im back with questions !

    hi !
im about to end spartan trials in 5 days.
id like to restart it cause it suit me well but...I heard that to build muscle diet is the base . Im on it that ok. Tracking calorie etc is on! AND the difficulty of the workouts is the second important thing ! So here is my question !
If im supposed to increase difficulty to gain muscle , by rep , series number or/and weight I lift, what if I go back on day 1 which is less difficult than day 30?! I mean nothing would be increased at all!
Ps: I m doing the programs at level II but i think level III is not for me...

    What do you think ?

You need to increase the difficulty. If you don't want to up the level for whatever reason you can increase reps or lower rest time, or both.

One thing you can always do which nobody talks much about is mix and match the features of difficulty levels. Take the reps or sets of the workout at level 2 while only taking a 30 second rest in between, which is a level 3 thing, basically making it a workout level 2.5

As a general rule of thumb - if your muscles are burning and those last 3 or 5 reps are a struggle you're on the right track.

Ok so you mean get back to day one, still level 2 but less than 2 min rest

Also, just increaseing Tension with your mind and moving very slow and controlled make sure to activate all muscle fibers 100% the level dont necessary have to go up you could revert back to level 1 and see more results...Just that mind muscle overload will be a real game changer no matter what your doing...Basically no matter what if you want more muscle place it under tension for longer and incorpate pause sets ...simple little here little there things you can do very well will make for long lasting returns for your time.......

Yes I was thinking about this too. Slower the movement . Cool!

You can wear extra weight while doing the exercises.

"Spartan warriors fought while wearing heavy armour. For an authentic spartan camp experience wear wrist and ankle weights throughout the program".

Now you challenge yourself and get more muscle because you lift more weight and give your body new impulses to adapt to.
Still to easy? Slowing the movement and using mind-muscle connection will help you concentrate on the muscles and will help to make an exercise harder.

            Good luck!
