How to season my veggies: a plea for culinary assistance

    I'm not sure if it was suggested before, but here in the Balkans we have a spice mixture that's colloquially called Vegeta (sometimes Kulinat, Zacin C etc. depending on the producer). It was designed by a Bosnian food engineer but when I was in Germany and Greece I remember seeing the local equivalents. It's basically a mix of dried up vegetables that are crushed together. It does have a relatively high sodium content so check the back of the package if you find it.

    I often use it to season steamed or cooked vegetables instead of using just salt. So I highly recommend it!
