how do i know what amount of pull ups to do on the military fit program

Ryder K On this page it shows what you need to do for the pullups. So on day 1, you will do the 1 pull up, 1 chinup, leg\knee raises for however many sets suits your level.

If you can do more than 1 pull up\chin up in a go, then I would just take them to failure.

How do I save my workout and unlock achievements? I have been marking the days and sets and saving them. But I am not exactly tech savy.

I feel like a buffoon for asking this, but I'd like to embark on the Hero's Journey. The thing I'm having waking nightmares about is the suggested meal plan - which looks like adding up to ~1000 kCal a day. I'm quite sure that amount couldn't get me to function normally, much less perform any sort of training at all. I'm 6 feet 2 and ~220 lbs, which requires quite an amount of food to function at any level. While I appreciate the fact that my weight could get down ~10 pounds or so, I don't want that to happen in less than a week and more beyond.

                        Any tips?

tsassman2000 : You can unlock your achievements under "Edit Profile" and then click which of them you got.

Arnitzipal You can ignore the suggested mealplan and just eat as you usually do. Or take bigger portions to get your caloric needs until you can function normally. It's not set in stone.

b1l4l_w3st ... not so much a 'tip' as a suggestion: don't. It doesn't matter how old you are - or aren't - it's a question of your health and a question of your ability to keep the weight off.
The only way to lose weight is to cut your caloric intake and get more exercise. More of the former, but certainly some of the latter. The problem is: you need to eat to live. You need to consume a certain amount of healthy food in order to get the nutrients your body needs to continue to function.
And then there's the problem of keeping it off. I can't believe you would want to lose a lot of weight only to gain it all back within a year.
So ... I have to believe you want to take it off and keep most of it off for a much longer time. Which means you need to change your diet - dumping sugar, desserts, and snacks - and slowly lose the weight - a pound or so a week (2 kg a month, if in Europe) - while your body adjusts itself to those changes.
The only ways that you can lose more and lose it quickly would be through surgery! This has worked for many people, but Chris Christie - the Governor of New Jersey - is a prime example of surgery gone wrong. He had the surgery and is still - more than a year later - hasn't lost enough for it to be noticed. He's still ... round.
If you need to lose a bunch of weight by a certain date, I'm sorry to say ... you should have started sooner.

A bit more information about you and your intentions would be good. But most of the time it will lead to what DaithiMeyer said. Do not rush it, choose the healthy way.
