HI. What does (20 basic burpees +jump) means? Should I completed 20 reps of burpees then do one jump or do (1 burpee and 1 jump) repeated 20 times?

Basic burpee usually means that you donĀ“t to the push-up. The jump usually belongs to a burpee, but sometimes they write "with jump" to clarify that.

Level 1: set a timer for 3 minutes and do high knees or run-- every 10 seconds you dodge to any direction, and do a basic burpee. 3 sets (9 minutes in total+rest)
Level 2: set a timer for 4 minutes and do high knees or run-- every 10 seconds you dodge to any direction, and do a basic burpee. 4 sets (16 minutes in total+rest)
Level 3: set a timer for 5 minutes and do high knees or run-- every 10 seconds you dodge to any direction, and do a basic burpee. 5 sets (25 minutes in total+rest)

Hi Georgemr and welcome to the Hive

Power Cardio is the name of one of our programs. This program is a high burn program that is based on power moves like jump-squats, burpees and advanced ab moves.

HIIT generally stands for High Intensity Interval Training and is a specific type of training in which you perform different moves as fast as possible for a specific time, repeatedly (hence: interval). As it happens we do have a program that is also called 30 days of HIIT.

These two programs use a different approach and are different in intensity but are both designed for streamlining and toning.

I hope this answers your question.

On Day 69 of 90 Days of Action - how does the 20 sec plank + punch + cross work (same applies to the 20 sec plank jack + punch + cross)? Do you hold the plank for 20 secs - then do the punch etc, or do you get into plank position, then get up and punch - repeating for 20 secs?

rawcookie this is what we call a "hidden burpee" You go down into plank position, stand back up, do a punch + cross and go back down into plank position, get back up,... etc. for 20 seconds. The same applies to the plank jacks: you go down into plank position, do a plank jack, get back up, punch + cross, repeat for 20 seconds.

Since this is HIIT day every exercise (or combo in this case) is high intensity and will keep your heart rate up. Holding a plank would take out the flow.

                        Does this make sense?
