    1&1 Mealplan & Alcohol Consumption

    Hey guys,

I was wondering how alcohol fits in this meal plan, for example a cup of wine has no carbs, so can I have some on the No Carb days too?

As far as I know, alcohol metabolises into sugar, which is a carbohydrate...

Wine has carbs. The amount of carbs depends on the wine you drink too (color and varietal). The average is about 3 to 6 grams per 5 ounces of wine. how many carbs are you limiting yourself to a day? This will be a key to how much you can/want to drink. Myself, I add this to my caloric/carb counts because I like to drink. I drink about every other day and no more than 1 beer, 1 shot, or 1 glass of wine when I do and never to excess.

My father is a painter, he used to drink scotch and to smoke weed. His works are amazing, but his health is gone to the hell. We've looked at him and had seen how a great man is going down and down every single day. We decided to find a rehab center, where he will be supervised by doctors. In the end we find www.lifeline.org.uk, a great place for people of his nature. Now he is in a rehab center, he is feeling better, and stil working but without alcohol. Art needs sacrifice, but for some masterpices your minde should to be sober.

I would include wine on the free and free+ days. The no carb days are pretty basic, and very low calorie, not a great pairing w wine.

And ya. If you want no carb alcohol you need whiskey/gin/vodka w non caloric mixer/straight. But it still metabolizes in a different way than you want for efficient fat loss.

BUT. No diet works if you can't stick with it. So if you need a glass of wine w dinner to not fall off the bandwagon, 1&1 is the wrong diet for you.

A 150ml glass of white wine is about 3.5g of carbs (red wine about half of that).

Spirits have no carbs as all the sugar has been distilled out.

Beer is about 20-30 grams per 500ml (approx. 1 pint).

                Choose carefully.
