    Combat challenge suggestion

    I really like challenges that offer a different exercise every day, like Ninja. So last night, I thought, hey, how about a combat-based challenge - Fighting Fit (or some other funky name)? I was imagining turning kicks - normal, slo-mo, fast, double, high-low, and other kicks; punches - normal, hooks, jab-punch; elbow strikes; knee strikes; etc. Then, as I was thinking Fighting FIT, there should also be some fitness things, such as an agility drill or grapevine; knee pulses (when your leg is in side kick prep and you pulse the knee up and down); fast feet (sprinting on the spot, focussing on speed and not height such as high knees requires); and holds, as well as a bit of a balance component, but not really the standard fitness stuff, like jumping jacks or sit-ups. No combos, though, because I want this to be quite simple and combos can be a bit confusing. I was just wondering if some people don't try the combat workouts because they look a bit scary perhaps, if the person has no combat experience, and a single exercise every day could be a gentle introduction.
