After a 6 months break, I finally had the opportunity to jump in a saddle!

Result: I feel so sore 🤣 Daily workouts are not enough apparently, when horses are concerned.

Now I'm off for another long break and was thinking that, just as we have the "dryland" workout for swimmers out of a pool, perhaps there could be a workout for riders?

I'm thinking leg abductors, calves and core strenght exercises, with some stretching. What do you guys think?
