rhoadstm thank you so much for asking and Soloakel thank you for tagging me here. This is a question we've internally gone back and forth a few times now. The issue is that we make everything available for free, forever and iOS apps are geared for-profit. As a result they are more expensive to create, have an on-going upgrade cost and just setting up and account and profile in the App Store has an annual cost. This is all money we'd rather spend maintaining and upgrading the site, creating new material, bringing out fresh, science-backed articles and setting up new programs. As a result the decision was made at the tail end of last year to not pursue this.

However, we did spend considerable time and money redesigning the website so it's accessible on-the-go, remains fast even on restricted bandwidth and can be accessed almost as an app. I really hope this helps clarify this issue.
