Eh... there's a reason that program badges don't change if you do lv 1 vs lv 3. As long as you personally are working appropriately for your current fittness lv, you will get as much out of the program in terms of fittness progress as someone doing a higher level.

The approach is to compete against a "fixed" score, against a table, and since the theme is Olympic, from there to a "badge" in the form of a medal. I did not think of any that hurt sensibilities. In some way, competitiveness is already present, in some way, when someone claims 15 rewards in their profile for completing programs, at one level of difficulty or another and another person cannot do it. I take it as a self-improvement, not to humiliate others. But of course, if an Olympic program is implemented, it should look for a way to make it inclusive and to everyone's taste.

I am not a particularly competitive person, when I was running in off-track athletics, I stopped doing it in popular races (where they charge entry and there is a classification by chip) and I joined the Punk Trails which are marked mountain races through timeless and without classification (and with some very very special refreshment points XD). In them you "pay" your registration by bringing food for the most disadvantaged.

When I proposed on an Olympic program, I was just looking for a way to mirror an Olympiad in a Darebee program. I included I came to think of a program that lasted 293 days (which are the editions of the Olympics that seem to have been made in ancient times. I wish that there was an Olympic program in Darebee and that it had a different "flavor", but nothing could be further from my will to undermine the spirit to play sports. A hug.

I think Darebee doesn't favor this type of leaderboard like competition. Something similar has been proposed before but has been rejected. Even if it's "friendly" it can still belittle others and create negativity.

Honestly I am not into this type of competition, either, and I won't join if one is being created, but I might do it if it's just scores and no medals, with a thread where people can log in and share their scores. Oh well then why don't we just log the workout that we complete.

If you want a point system, you can do Hero's Journey or Avatar Upgrade which has a similar idea.

    Olympic Program

First of all, sorry for my English. If with my fitness I have to improve, with my English, more.

After my proposal on philosophers and travel, I launch my proposal for an Olympic program. It could be a friendly competitive program, for example each day there would be a few exercises that would have a numerical value for difficulty and each athlete would do the repetitions that she could or wanted of each exercise. The sum of these values would be your daily score. These points would accumulate until the end of the program, where each one would have a total score. There would be a table of points to determine which medal each one has obtained. For example: Gold -> 10,000 points, Silver -> 7,000 points, etc ... I don't know what you think of the proposal
Working...
