    Motivation

    No one can make us do something we don't want to do. It doesn't matter what we know about how something may be "good for us" or not. If it doesn't make us feel good by activating the reward system in our brain we are unlikely to stick to it. This is the primary reason resolutions fail, why people give up training, why we can't stop smoking or stick to long-term plans or focus on studying, or do anything else we may want to do but feel we are not motivated enough to do it.

    There is a solution to this called "flipping". Change the perspective, find real reasons to like what you do no matter how hard it might be. Find real reasons to feel good about it and watch how it transforms the way you do it.
