  • Training but not gaining size/weight

Im currently in the military and we do intense cardio every day (except weekends) as well as various bodyweight and renegade training, but i cant seem to pick up any weight or size, where as my fellow members are gaining at a steady pace. How can i gain weight (or size) without really changing my diet since we can only eat what we're given (High Carbs, Protein and fat every day, three times a day)

If you cannot change your diet, try to sleep/rest as much as you can.

Cardio, especially if your already pretty fit, wont really add to your size. Only way to really add size is more food. Have some care packages sent with tuna and chocolate.

Only Diet change that i can do is supplements, but I don't want to lose explosive power and speed, and I'm not sure if supps will influence that

Cardio is atleast 65% of our daily program, so i dont have a way to decrease that

No, they shouldn't. Unless you start guzzling down protein shakes on protein shakes on protein shakes, and add more calories than you can possibly lose.

If the other guys were starting from smaller, the calories provided may be enough for them to gain on. Try to find someone who doesn't like the food to sit next to and mooch off of, or befriend a cook. Or, since part of the point of the training is to see a stregnth increase, explain to your co that you think you are being underfed?

I agree that your diet seems not to be sufficient for you to bulk up. But also keep in mind that genetics also influence how bulky you get. So even IF you do eat more you might not gain size the same way as your fellow members. With all the cardio you have to do your body also has zero interest in creating more mass that he has to sustain and carry around. So circumstances are not really ideal for bulking up.
Best option really is to try to up your energy uptake ( especially protein) and try to rest as much as possible

                  Look at the bright side:
You are obviously fit enough to do all the stuff your comrades are able to do, so there is no difference in ability. But your comrades are heavier, so you have to carry around less weight for the same performance.
Genetically it could be that your muscles are better-optimized for high-performance-low-weight. You're a racecar, a ferrari. Your comrades are more the type SUV.

You won´t gain size/weight if you don´t eat more.
