  • Busy bee today, so only one evening session:

    Revolution D4 - as warmup
    - although it's not Monday but my random button chose that as my High Burn workout and since it was already late I happily obliged.
DD with EC (50 Around the World) - for some reason that made my right shin burn
    The Finisher

    4 days no missed workout

Very much so agreed, and great job on those regular daily workouts! Glad to see you back active on here, TT.

          • You like Assassin's Creed? And just when I thought I couldn't like you even more.

Now I want to fire up Syndicate and murder half the London in your honor. Wait... that's not the Way of the Creed, right? Eh... I never said I was a good assassin.

Glad to see you are posting updates here. Very excited to see where your fitness adventure takes you and what stories come out of it.

Sitting on the roof, watching the scene, developing a plan , sneaking in and suddelny my character turns to assassinate a civilian instead of the target because the PC controls are just terrible <-- me every time!

Thank you by the way, ArishaNomad, vahal, reliantfc3 and LORD MJ. But as far as kicking booty goes... the streak is already over
Though there were no check-ins I did my workouts Su-Tu. But then there was yesterday when I was in a particularly foul mood... so I did what every self-respecting bee would do:
binge on sweets and play Dragon Age (a rogue, of course ) till I couldn't keep my head up anymore. Ahem.

I think all Darebees have days like that and it's really okay - I like it how everyone here is so honest about slipping and cheating every once in a while..it's just human!

Oh I know this... But I have decided for myself once, that this is just what my body, what I need sometimes.

                    • My body does weird and terrible things to me if I don't get carbs or sugar. I understand the sentiments well.

Same here, can nearly faint in a supermarket or get so weak that I wouldn't be able to get up from my couch

                        • Oooh! Which Dragon Age? I never did get the hang of the dual-wield on Inquisition, I always played ranged rogue in that one.

                          • lpf This is pretty much my story as well. My problem is that sometimes I lack patience so I go for a high risk scenario. I'm pretty good in combat and I always get the best gear possible, so usually when the sneaky attempt fails then I go for the "20+ corpses piled up one on another" approach. That never fails me.

twinkletoes I don't get it. This is not the first time I heard that PC controls suck, but I NEVER had problems with PC controls. I had a few times controls acted up on me, but it happened so rarely. Oh well... maybe you should look into getting a X360 controller for Windows if the games are giving you that much trouble. Those work really well with AC games. But me playing an AC game with a controller? Never going to happen.

On a non gaming related note. Don't worry, we all have those days. Once I watched a video on YouTube that wrecked me completely and I was crying unable to do anything with my life, let alone workout. You will get the next one done. I believe in you.

It would be quite cruel not to allow oneself a day off every once in a while, right? So I wouldn't even call it slipping or cheating, rather keeping the balance

I have never bought that one. My graphics card is a little too... decrepit. So part 1 it is.

I don't get it either It happened only during the first game... but I kept falling from rooftops instead of jumping to the next, or jumping up walls instead of attacking someone
